Deutsche Bank – FinanzPlaner

Deutsche Bank, one of the largest banks in the world, launched its financial management tool, FinanzPlaner to the German market in 2015. This tool enables retail customers to automatically analyze income and expenses. More than 5 million online banking users have access via any digital banking channel, including a smartphone app.

The Challenge

Deutsche Bank needed to adapt to new banking trends and provide retail customers a tool that would enable income and expense analysis accessible through any channel, including a digital banking app.

Implementation

Thanks to the agile scrum methodology used in this project, the solution was implemented with an unprecedented speed for both Strands and an IT project ever done within Deutsche Bank. It only took 4 months from the project kick-off to the go-live first version of the tool.

Result

Deutsche Bank mobile app was the winner of the Red Dot and German Design Award. It was recognised for a simple but smart look, an intuitive navigation, personalization and innovative functions. According to the jury:
