Deutsche Bank – FinanzPlaner
Deutsche Bank, one of the largest banks in the world, launched its financial management tool, FinanzPlaner to the German market in 2015. This tool enables both retail and business customers to automatically analyze income and expenses. More than 5 million online banking users have access via any digital banking channel, including a smartphone app.
FinanzPlaner Business, Strands’ first BFM implementation, empowers business owners to have cash flow under control. The ease of use and intuitive graphical presentation of money coming in and out, helps Deutsche Bank clients to have more piece of mind and hence increases engagement with the bank.
Thanks to the agile scrum methodology used in this project, the solution was implemented with an unprecedented speed for both Strands and an IT project ever done within Deutsche Bank. It only took 4 months from the project kick-off to the go-live first version of the tool.
Deutsche Bank mobile app was the winner of the Red Dot and German Design Award. It was recognised for a simple but smart look, an intuitive navigation, personalization and innovative functions. According to the jury:
“The clean, elegant and above all user-friendly design clearly shows the bank as the sender, creates a high level of trust and also offers practical features. This is an outstanding app in terms of both design and functionality that stands out from the crowd.”
